This event includes a Sprint and Olympic distance race course, Team Category, Cool Finisher Medal, Open Wave, and CASH PURSE! It's a fun and challenging race that takes place at Lake Tawakoni State Park just 50 miles east of Dallas. For those outdoor enthusiasts, race site camping is available Friday (5/13) and Saturday (5/14).

The open water swim courses (no loops) have a beach entrance and take place in beautiful Lake Tawakoni. The scenic 24.8 mile bike for both distances is an out and back course which is mostly flat with only two turns. The Sprint run course is an out and back with a couple of small rolling hills, and a fun 1/4 mile trail run to kick it off. The Olympic run course uses the same route and includes a partial loop.

THIS IS NOT A RELAY TEAM.

Participants now have the chance to join together and compete as a team. You will be timed in your own age group just like always and your time and your teammates' times will be combined for a total team time.

Group Teams must consist of at least 3 and at most 5 members, and include a female racer. The top 3 finishing times will count towards the team ranking, and one of the top 3 times must include a female finishing time.

The winning Team walks away with a significant Prize Package and their names engraved on a Richardson Bike Mart Sprint Team Cup Challenge trophy. During the year this trophy will live in a RBM store on display.
